Surfing - 2002-06-09
I have a hotel booked for the first night, and then a B&B reserved for three days around Sligo. After that I~~ll be heading north to Donegal and making it up as I go.

Hi,

We run a big site - a few of them actually - that make very little money, but we love doing what we do. We've mainly written and used our own photos (http://www.newyorkarver.com & http://www.midmanhattan.com & http://www/italiantrips.com) But with all of the time we're spending on putting the chiff.com directory together, we don't seem to have as much to spend on the writing and photography which we also love doing... and also make no money with...

I've used two of your surfing photos to go with an article contributed by Fred Riehl from bravesurf - bless both of you :-)

Thanks again,
Margaret

I am recovering from a brain anuerism and am in intensive outpatient therapy. I wrote this poem to share with the therapists and patients at the St. John's Mercy Head Injury Resource Center here in Missouri. I used your Surfing - 2002-06-09 photo as a heading. Thanks! Lora

My illness is not one feeling
That can be quickly explained away,
But overlapping memories
that have led me to today.

Like ocean waves, crashing on the shore,
I relive each struggle again,

Overlapping,

Overlapping.

As I kick the water, and feel the ocean spray,
The sand gets sucked out from between my toes,
and back to sea my sadness goes.

Lora
